Garmoran Square Terms and Conditions

Arrival & Departure

All terms are per week, 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday.

Upon departure we please ask that you leave everything in a clean and tidy condition and general order in which it was found.

Booking Confirmation

A contract shall come into existence when we accept the booking in writing or filled in booking form.

Bookings will be confirmed upon receipt of 25% of the accommodation rental.

You will then become responsible for the total price as advertised.

Payment of Balance

The balance is due and payable by you not later than 8 weeks before the holiday commencement date. For bookings made within 8 weeks of the start of the holiday you are required to pay the full price as detailed on the price guide before the booking will be confirmed.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation, we will make every effort to re-let and would hope to refund monies paid, but it is understood that this will not always be possible.

Availability

Should any of the properties not be available due to circumstances outwith our control, (for example fire, theft or damage) we will do everything we can to find suitable alternative accommodation to the same standard, however if none can be found we will refund to you all sums in full but you will have no claim against us.

Number in your party

Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons (MacRuairi - 4 persons, Tioram 6 persons, Shiel 4 persons, Somerled 6 persons) occupy the property. We reserve the right to cancel the contract, without a refund of sums paid, should this condition not be observed.

Pets

By arrangement only. Visitors are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by pets and we ask that pets do not foul on the property. Pets must be kept under strict control at all times and off the beds and chairs. You should bring a basket or blanket for them. Dogs must not be left unattended in the apartments.

Breakages

We want to ensure that everyone coming to Garmoran Square, find everything in good working order, therefore we ask that any damage or breakage be reported immediately to ensure we can replace or repair the item as soon as possible.

It is with regret, where damage or breakage has taken place, we will ask that you pay for this. (Reasonable wear and tear excepted.)

House rules

Please take proper and reasonable care of your apartments and garden; furniture, pictures, fittings and effects; please leave them in the same state of repair and condition, and in the same clean and tidy condition, at the end of the rental period, as at the beginning.

Strictly no smoking in any of the apartments.

Departure by 10 am please, (day of departure). (We really need the time to clean and prepare thoroughly; either for your arrival, or for that of our next guests.)

Please only indoor shoes in the apartments, as we ask you not to wear shoes indoors (the under-floor heating through out makes it a delight!).

Cycles to remain in cycle store, outside.

Please be environmentally friendly; switch off lights and only heat when required, and where possible save water.

Don't leave your fire / log burning stove or candles unattended.
