Sorry for the lack of posts in recent months, The run up to Christmas is always a very busy time for everyone and that is no different for us here at Garmoran. Each year we decorate the houses with real 10/12ft Christmas Trees and decorate the outside with wreathes and lights. Mulled wine and mincemeat pies await the Christmas guests.

After Christmas and New Year we took the opportunity to get away to recharge the batteries and have some time off. We had a lovely holiday ~ self catering of course! Now recharged and ready for the 2013 session.

The weather at the moment is dry and sunny ~ if a bit cold due to slight wind chill, so I plan on getting out and getting some walking done a great way to exercise in the New Year after over indulgence during my holiday (after all that is what holidays are for!)

The plan is over the next couple of weeks to do local walks approx 2 hours long, with some longer ones being tackled at the weekend. Then between the website and blog put more details and photo's with regards the walks in the area. Let me know what your favourites are and if there are any you would like included. Watch this space
